made since the 2025 publication, including the establishment of a dedicated Working Group and
preliminary findings from an ongoing country mapping exercise. This 2026 edition also highlights
the urgency of gender-disaggregated data amidst intensifying energy insecurity, which evidence
shows disproportionately harms women and girls
