The Women in Wind Global Leadership Program 2021

The Women in Wind Global Leadership Programme was established to accelerate the careers of women in the wind industry and support their progression to leadership roles. Jointly organised by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET), the programme aimed to foster a global network of mentorship and knowledge-sharing.

In 2021, the programme welcomed 15 participants from a wide range of emerging wind energy markets. The third edition built upon previous successes, featuring five Knowledge-Transfer Webinars, a negotiation skills workshop with the CEO of TerraPro Solutions, and the launch of a Women in Wind Blog.

About the Global Wind Energy Council: The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) represents the entire wind energy sector, advocating for sustainable wind power globally. With a diverse membership spanning over 80 countries, GWEC is at the forefront of driving the transition to renewable energy.
