PROGRAMMES | CURRENT MENTORING PROGRAMMES
The Women in Wind Global Leadership Program 2024, jointly organised by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition, accelerates the careers of women in the wind industry, supporting their paths to leadership while fostering a global network for mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and empowerment.
With the second-highest number of applications to date, this year’s program has drawn a diverse and talented cohort from 33 countries, including Brazil, India, and Kenya. Participants bring advanced qualifications and varied expertise, from PhDs in environmental science to master’s degrees in engineering, enriching the program’s global network with perspectives from across the wind energy sector.
