GWNET and GIZ are delighted to introduce the participants in the Empowering Women in Green Hydrogen in Kenya Mentoring Programme. These 25 women, selected from over 100 applicants, will benefit from an intensive seven-month mentoring and training programme organised under the Bavarian-Kenyan Green Hydrogen Cooperation Platform. More information about this mentoring programme can be found here.
The cohort includes women working in a range of sectors and disciplines relevant to green hydrogen, from academics to civil servants, entrepreneurs and journalists; and from wind energy to agriculture and aviation. We look forward to supporting them over the coming months and to working together to build a thriving, gender-just green hydrogen ecosystem in Kenya.
