The Women in Renewable Energy in Africa mentoring program addresses the gender gap in the renewable energy sector and aims to advance the careers of mid-career women working in the energy transition.
To strengthen the role of women as agents of change in the energy transition, IFC’s Women in Renewable Energy in Africa Network (W-REA) in partnership with Energy2Equal and the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET), launched the second cohort of this 9-month program for women professionals working in renewable energy in sub-Saharan Africa.
