The Women in Wind Global Leadership Program 2022

The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) jointly organised the Women in Wind Program 2022. This year, the programme welcomed a cohort of 21 participants from 13 countries for its fourth edition, bringing together a diverse group of women working in the wind industry. Over the year, the mentees engaged in training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing aimed at equipping them with skills to advance toward leadership roles.

By fostering a workforce rich in perspectives and expertise, the Women in Wind Program supports a new generation of female leaders in the renewable energy sector. As the industry works toward a just energy transition, initiatives like Women in Wind are critical to building a diverse and representative workforce.
