Short Bio:
I am a Geophysics graduate, Data Scientist, and Machine Learning Developer with a strong focus on applying data-driven and geospatial solutions to environmental and water-related challenges. My work sits at the intersection of geoscience, hydrogeology, data science, and sustainable development, with particular interest in groundwater assessment, water quality analysis, and environmental sustainability. I am the Founder of Hydro Envision Hub, an impact-driven initiative committed to training and mentoring aspiring hydrologists, hydrogeologists, environmental analysts, and data scientists through Python, GIS, machine learning, and applied research. Through this platform, I have led capacity-building programs, workshops, and research-driven initiatives addressing water pollution, scarcity, and quality, particularly in underserved communities. My research experience includes leading and contributing to projects on machine learning–based water quality prediction, groundwater availability modeling, and geophysical investigations of aquifer systems. I have presented research and technical work on diverse local and international platforms, including professional conferences and academic forums, and have published in peer-reviewed outlets. In recognition of my academic excellence and leadership, I have received several awards, including a top placement in an international student research competition in the United States, and have been selected for prestigious programs such as the Global Women in Clean Energy program in Zambia. I have also represented my institution and professional communities at regional and international engagements. During my NYSC service year, I served as a Mathematics Teacher and Corps Liaison Officer, where I led student seminars, STEM outreach initiatives, and academic competitions. I currently serve as a Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Mentor, supporting early-stage African entrepreneurs, and have held leadership roles within professional and volunteer organizations, including research committees and youth-focused STEM initiatives. I am an active member of professional bodies such as the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), Nigerian Mining and Geoscience Society (NMGS), and Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE). I am open to research collaborations, speaking engagements, global programs, and projects that leverage data and technology for sustainable environmental impact.
