Short Bio:
I have been working at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) since May 2021, leading its work on policy, with a focus on renewable energy markets, finance and energy access. Prior to joining IRENA, I worked for the development organisation Practical Action as Head of Energy, in charge of the strategic development of its energy access work. Previously, I was at the International Energy Agency in Paris, the UK Committee on Climate Change and the Greater London Authority, as well as  working for several non-governmental organisations and academic institutions in my earlier career. I have a PhD in climate change and energy policy from the University of Sussex in the UK.
