Short Bio:
Tara Brown-Selders, MBA is a passionate leader at the intersection of commercial title insurance and renewable energy. At Kensington Vanguard, she successfully built a strong division helping solar and battery storage developers with their land services needs and is a proud champion of America’s energy transition. Tara is known for her grit, strategic thinking, creative problem solving, effective partnerships, positivity and the ability to navigate complex projects. In addition to her role at Kensington Vanguard, Tara is the Strategic Partnership Chair for the Houston Chapter of CleanTX, is Co-Chair of the Houston Chapter of Women in Title and is President of the National Board at EcoWomen. As a devoted mother, sustainability advocate and community builder, Tara strives to connect women across sectors and develop meaningful relationships with various stakeholders and leaders in the energy, sustainability and nonprofit spaces. Her professional journey to becoming an executive is one Tara forged on her own despite numerous challenges thrown her way in male-dominated industries.
