Short Bio:
Suzanne is qualified in engineering and economics and has 15 years’ international experience in sustainable energy and climate change. Suzanne specializes in the economic and financial analysis of sustainable energy projects, and advises multilateral institutions, policy-makers and business executives on cost-effective sustainable energy strategies. She has analysed US$ 1 billion of investments, in renewable energy, transport and clean tech sectors, resulting in investments in wind, solar, biomass, electric vehicles and waste management/recycling. For CARICOM and the IDB, she contributed to the development of sustainable energy plans for thirteen Caribbean countries, evaluating the economic and commercial viability of projects in renewable energy, alternative fuel, and clean transport. She has previously advised on energy and climate change policy in the European Union, and more recently was an advisor in the conceptualisation of the Caribbean Climate Smart Accelerator, an initiative led by Caribbean government leaders to set out and implement transformative action on climate resilience in the Caribbean.
