Short Bio:
Rachel Porto is a seasoned QHSE and Sustainability executive in the global energy sector, currently serving as Vice President of QHSE & Sustainability at NKT HV Solutions. With over 25 years of experience, including 15 years in the wind industry, she has led initiatives across Latin America, Europe, and Asia, covering the full wind farm lifecycle from development to operations. Rachel previously held senior roles such as Global Head of HSSQ at Corio Generation, QHSSE leadership positions at Vattenfall, and global HSE and Quality management at LM Wind Power. She is a strong advocate for sustainability, diversity, and workplace wellbeing, and actively contributes to industry standards through board roles with Global Wind Organisation (GWO) and G+ Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation. She holds an MBA, two master’s degrees (Sustainability and QHSE), and certifications as a Master Black Belt and Lead Auditor in ISO standards.
