Short Bio:
Mingxin is based in Boulder, Colorado, the United States at Ascend Analytics as an Energy Market Analyst Intern and focuses on analyzing the fundamentals for regional transmission organizations (RTOs) in the electricity market. Before joining Ascend, she worked as a climate data assistant at the Dane County Office of Energy and Climate Change to monitor the utility usage in the county buildings in the EnergyCAP platform and engage with community members to initiate the Climate Action Plan. Her achievement not only includes exploring different options for tracking utility consumption but also supporting Dane County to be prepared for the Energy Star Recognition by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She is well-equipped with Microsoft Office skills such as Excel and PowerBI, and also Python for data analysis. She has been playing badminton for over a decade and is involved with local badminton clubs to promote badminton. In a nutshell, she is an adventurous, patient, collaborative girl with a passion for cleaner energy and an international perspective on sustainable development.
