International Senior Policy Advisor with technical and policy advisory experience on strategies to advance the energy, sustainability and economic objectives of the public and private sector.
As Senior Policy Advisor for Digitalization, Finance, and Corporate Sourcing of Renewable Energy at SolarPower Europe, the European solar industrial association representing over 200 organizations, I derive strategic and actionable insights to build digitalization into their business model design and support them advance in their endeavors to power their operations with renewable electricity.
I engage across industry sectors and global organizations to maximize impact, including as expert for the Solar Impulse Foundation assessing innovative solutions based on their technical feasibility, socio-economic benefits and economic profitability; founding member of Project Drawdown Switzerland, an organization that supports positive economic, social and environmental solutions; and advisor to the Board of CommUnity InnoEnergy, which empowers individuals from 90+ countries passionate about sustainability and innovation in the energy sector.
Before SolarPower Europe, I led projects at the Climate Policy Group at ETH Zurich on strategies to increase the rate of investment into solar power in countries at different stages of development. In addition to a PhD in Climate Policy from ETH Zurich and Executive Education from ESADE Business and Law School, I hold a Double Degree MSc in Renewable Energy, with a specialisation in Energy Innovation and Energy Engineering. I feel privileged to have lived in 8 countries and have had the opportunity to learn meanwhile 4 languages on top of my 2 native ones.
