Short Bio:
A senior consultant at EY Strategy and Consulting’s Energy Unit, Mami has been instrumental in projects involving major business transformation initiatives for utility companies and market research in the European hydrogen market. Prior to EY, Mami spent seven years at Kawasaki Heavy Industries as a Sales Executive, focusing on business development and factory energy efficiency. She successfully identified Bangladesh’s pilot project, initiated open innovation programs in Malaysia, and forged strategic relationships in Japan, earning the General Manager Award for securing a 110 MW plant contract. Mami holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Business from Rikkyo University and studied abroad at CUNY Queens College, New York. With a passion for emerging countries, Mami worked with an NGO throughout high school to internationalize Japanese elementary education. She also gained experience in the New York fashion industry as a sales intern for a designer handbag startup and as a fitter during New York Fashion Week 2011. A travel enthusiast, Mami has visited over 30 countries, driven by interests in history, architecture, garments, and meeting new people.
