Short Bio:
At CrossBoundary Energy, Kathleen acts as Vision and Delivery Lead, where she contributes strategic insights and oversees the solar developer’s pan-African operations from CBE’s Nairobi office. Kathleen’s portfolio at CBE includes corporate operations, business analytics, environmental and social management, and regulatory engagement. Kathleen graduated from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs, where her research focused on policies promoting the growth of the renewable energy industry. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, Kathleen worked as a project developer for SunEdison, supervising, permitting, interconnection, design, and financing of commercial-scale solar projects. She managed project portfolios of up to 20 megawatts including ground, roof, and carport installations. Kathleen has also served as a consultant for Dalberg Global Development Advisors, advising Fortune 500 companies, multilateral organizations, and private foundations on program strategy in frontier markets. She has lived in Kenya, Senegal, and India and worked with clients on their operations in Mali, Ethiopia, and South Africa.
