Short Bio:
Kathlen took her bachelor degree in Civil Engineering at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in 2016. During her bachelor, she was a research assistant at the Laboratory of Energy Efficiency in Buildings (LabEEE) and did an exchange program at Victoria University of Wellington where she took classes at the Building Science/Sustainable Engineering Systems course. Since 2016, she is a researcher at the Solar Energy Research Laboratory at UFSC where she is currently doing her Master’s degree with focus in Solar Cooperatives. Kathlen is also one of the directors of the NGO IDEAL Institute where she leads mainly projects about solar communities’ in Brazil.
