Short Bio:
Hello. My name is Jessica. I am the daughter of Mexican immigrants, making me a first-generation Mexican-American. With parents who did not have the opportunity to earn a high school education, navigating the education system was often challenging and lacking in guidance. However, through mentorship from teachers and friends, I persevered and earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am passionate about using my education to drive positive change, particularly in the area of sustainability. I believe this issue is vital to ensuring the protection of basic human rights worldwide. I would love to connect with fellow women and collaborate to create meaningful impact together.
