Short Bio:
As a geologist, I have experience in the areas of geotechnics and hydrogeology. In 2012-2013, I participated in the preparation of environmental impact studies and geotechnical studies for hydroelectric projects. In Chemistry, I have experience in water quality data analysis and have participated in research and teaching projects. In Geochemistry, I specialized in geothermal energy. I have more than 11 years of experience in the prospecting, development, and monitoring of geothermal reservoirs, improving steam quality systems, coordinating work with interdisciplinary teams to develop execution plans, developing work plans, and conducting sampling campaigns for various projects involving geochemistry. These activities are carried out within the Geothermal Sources group of the ICE Group. I have also collaborated on inter-institutional programs of the ICE and the BGR, providing support for local development issues. Since 2024, I have been part of the Operational Performance Management team, participating in several projects in the Costa Rican energy sector, focusing on asset integrity management. I was also a university professor for the Introductory Geochemistry course at the Central American School of Geology, UCR.
