Short Bio:
Gabriela is a doctoral student at the Energy Planning Program (COPPE/UFRJ) and researcher at Escopo Energia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UFF (Universidade Federal Fluminense), in addition to a master’s degree in Energy Planning from COPPE/UFRJ. Gabriela also develops research studies at Cenergia/COPPE/UFRJ in the energy area for organizations such as IDB (Inter-American Development Bank), CAF (Development Bank of Latin America), WRI (World Resources Institute) and ICS (Instituto Clima e Sociedade). Her main works address the issues: renewable energy, Power-to-gas technology, modeling of energy systems, Climate Change, Energy Transition and GHG mitigation projects. She has also worked in the Chemical Industry, with an internship at ​​Braskem and at ​​Infineum, a joint venture between Shell and ExxonMobil. During graduation, she developed Scientific Initiation activities at INMETRO and UFF, with researches on environmental contaminants, chemical metrology and chemical analysis.
