Short Bio:
Filagot Tesfaye is a professional engineer and a consultant with a diverse experience in construction, manufacturing, energy and consultancy sectors. Filagot is a founder and managing director of ON ENERGY a company engaged in renewable energy and energy efficiency.  Plus, Filagot is a founder and president of Ethiopian women in Energy (EWiEn), a non-profit membership association that connects and empowers Ethiopian women working in the energy sector. Filagot teaches issues in renewable energy and energy conservation for diverse groups of her community.  In addition, Filagot sits on an editorial board and contributes articles on energy issues as an active member of Ethiopian Society of Electrical Engineers.
