Short Bio:
Denisa Diaconu is Head of Special Projects at Energy Policy Group (EPG), a think-tank specializing in energy and climate policy. In this position, she carries out policy research on energy related issues, particularly energy efficiency and circular economy. She is directly engaged in the coordination and implementation of various EPG projects that aim at enabling the transition towards a clean and inclusive economy. Previously to EPG, Denisa was involved in several research projects regarding political representation, electoral behavior, forms of electoral clientelism and behavioral economics. Due to her background, Denisa pays special attention and shows genuine interest in the social impacts the energy trends may have among different social groups. She is an alumna of Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition.
