Short Bio:
Yasmeen Oraby is a Programs Manager at the Economic Research Forum (ERF) with over 12 years of experience in strategic communication, project management, and capacity building. She specializes in gender, energy, and youth empowerment, focusing on inclusive economic growth in Egypt and the MENA region. Yasmeen has managed multi-stakeholder initiatives with international donors like IRENA, the EU, and the UN. Key achievements include leading USAID-funded certification programs in renewable energy and the OPEC-funded program (APSEY) tailored for Sustainable Energy Youth. She led the design and implementation of the Gender in Energy initiative (Winnergy), aimed at integrating gender components into energy projects, recognized in 17 Arab countries. Her commitment to sustainable development is evident in her roles at the American University in Cairo and the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
