Short Bio:
Ukeme Asuquo is an experienced professional in Renewable Energy with expertise in Power system design; Mini-grid(Feasibility Study, Design, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, O&M); Technical Operations; Energy Management; Customer Relationship Management & Project Management. She is good in the design, construction, installation and commissioning of mini-grid projects, solar roof-top projects, solar borehole projects, solar street lighting projects. She is competent with the use of various software for solar system design, mapping, electrical drawings, data collation and analytic. As a trainer/facilitator on capacity building projects in the clean energy sector in Nigeria, she was involved in a training programme implemented by PIND in collaboration with GIZ and Edo State Government in 2019 for the Skill empowerment of 200 youths as certified Solar Professionals. Also, she has been involved in several other solar training programmes implemented by A4&T in coastal communities with no energy access. In her quest to gain mastery and make a positive impact, she has developed capacity through participation in blended training, seminars, conferences, etc. She has participated in GIZ- NESP programme for Training of Trainers (TOT) on SPVI and Mini-grid design; Energy Efficiency and Energy Management. As a Project Manager, she has managed several projects that promote renewable energy and prioritize energy efficiency practices. She is dynamic, resilient and passionate about building renewable energy projects, developing capacity and providing access to clean energy for off-grid and weak-grid communities in Africa and across the rest of the world.
