Short Bio:
Tino Chikwanha is a Zimbabwean sustainability and energy transitions practitioner. Her interest in low-carbon development began in the agricultural sector, after witnessing the widespread deforestation and charcoal production driven by energy poverty in Central Zambia. Tino has since worked to amplify African and youth perspectives on equitable transitions and to strengthen human rights protections for mining affected communities through her engagements. She is committed to advancing solutions to energy poverty and food insecurity through the water-energy-food nexus framework.
