Short Bio:
Born in Tanzania, I am a consultant, researcher, and energy engineer with 7 years of experience in coordinating, advising, and implementing development projects in energy and transport sectors –  specifically in the areas of strategy development; process management; research and knowledge management; reporting, proposal and study development; design of energy-efficient systems; climate assessments; supporting the implementation of infrastructure programmes’ within Africa through technical assistance to the African Union Commission (AUC), and African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD). And implementation of international cooperation assignments through support to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Engagement Global gGmbH municipal climate partnerships. I have regional experience in different African countries, namely, Tanzania, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Togo, Ethiopia, and Rwanda. And international experience in the USA working as a STEM coach & Research Engineer, in Spain, as an IEEE Empower a Billion Lives Competition first-round qualifier, and engagement with German ministry and organizations. I also co-founded Team “JuaJamii” and participated in the first African Solar Decathlon in Morocco. Educational Background: I hold an MSc. in Energy Engineering from Pan African University (Algeria) and a BSc. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Trinity University in San Antonio (USA). I am verified as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T) by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. I am fluent and have good business language skills in English, fluent in Kiswahili, and Level A2 in French. Interest/Hobbies: I enjoy having a positive environment around me, eating, hanging out with family and friends, having quiet time, traveling, discovering new cultures and technologies, creative arts, reading books, listening to music, and watching movies, comedies & motivational clips.
