Short Bio:
Sarah Ouziaux joined the Engie Group in 2009 and is now ESG Officer for the Energy Management (energy trading) entity of the ENGIE Group. Sarah graduated as a Chemist Engineer in 1996 (UTC, France) and obtained the same year the Diploma of Master of Engineering in Energy Conservation and the Environment (Cranfield University, UK). Starting her career as design and process engineer for a UK water company, she then through her positions in major international groups developed competences in various engineering domains in the Water and Energy Sector (including renewable integrations, sector coupling: power to hydrogen, etc…). Closing the loop with the mission of her second employer (UNICEF), she developed over time a focus on the gender equality expertise in the Energy Sector, via specific study for the European Commission or imbedded in Environment & Social Impacts Assessments. Her current expertise has shifted from project management and business development to Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) expertise for the Energy Supply Chain, and in particular for the Carbon Credits, Biomethane, Biomass with lately a focus on Biodiversity.
