Short Bio:
I am the Executive Vice President of Marketing, Communication and Sustainability at WERT International, a globally recognised sustainability solutions provider with its headquarters in India. Prior to my role at WERT International, I was a Communications Specialist at the Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF-SO), GIZ and extensively supported the Indo-German Green Hydrogen Task Force, agreed upon by the Governments of the Federal Republic of Germany and of the Republic of India. As part of my role at IGEF-SO, I created a vast network of government stakeholders and private players in the sector. Previously, I was an Editor with Times of India, Bennett Coleman and Company and a daily news reporter with the Daily News & Analysis (DNA). During my Master’s in International Communications and Media Studies from Monash University in Melbourne, I did research and communications with the Monash Climate Change Communication Research Hub and organised “Are We There Yet?” – a TEDxMonashUniversity event on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. Recently, I have been setting up the Women in Green Hydrogen (WiGH) network in South Asia and connecting with like-minded women in the green hydrogen sector. As a Climate Reality Leader, I also support in ground-level climate awareness activities in my city.
