Short Bio:
Diana-Rose Obeid Mwangwa is a professional civil engineer based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with a strong background in civil structures, railway infrastructure, hydro and solar projects, and estate maintenance. A graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam with a BSc in Civil Engineering and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), she has held key roles at TANESCO, Korea Railway JV (CHEIL), and Yapi Merkezi Construction, where she supervised large-scale infrastructure projects including 333 km of the Standard Gauge Railway. Skilled in project supervision, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination, she has also contributed to international water governance initiatives through the Global Water Partnership. Her interests span sustainable building techniques, structural design innovations, and cultural pursuits such as cooking, reading, and travel.
