Short Bio:
  Nomfundo is an experienced Electrical Professional with over 10 years of experience in the Energy Sector across several technologies. She started her career at Eskom and worked for several years as a Senior Technician in several roles in the parastatal Power Generation and Distribution divisions. She then transitioned to Renewable Energy, focusing on Solar PV.     Nomfundo brings into the energy space a dynamic set of skills and her charismatic personality that finds it natural to blend in multi-cultural work environments.   Within Renewables, Nomfundo has extensive experience working on utility-sized solar PV projects across Southern Africa from construction monitoring to operations and maintenance (O&M). She is currently employed by Mulilo Energy, serving as a Senior Technical Manager responsible for their solar PV operations portfolio.     She holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from Mancosa, a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Central University of Technology and a certificate in Operations and Productivity Management from Unisa, Center for Business Management.  Nomfundo is a Mentee for the 2022 Women in Renewable Energy in Africa (W-REA) Mentoring Program to further develop herself and gain international exposure. The mentoring program is organized in partnership with IFC’s Women in Renewable Energy in Africa Network (W-REA) and Energy2Equal, with a focus on women professionals working in renewable energy in sub-Saharan Africa.
