Short Bio:
I’m Margaret Robert, a renewable energy engineer and passionate advocate for sustainable energy solutions in Tanzania. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on solar and clean cooking projects, helping schools, institutions, and communities transition to reliable and cleaner energy sources. I’m especially passionate about empowering women in the energy sector and creating opportunities for young professionals to learn and grow. I love connecting with like-minded professionals, sharing knowledge, and learning from others’ experiences. Outside of work, you’ll often find me exploring new technologies, mentoring young women in STEM, or brainstorming ideas for community-based energy projects. Joining GWNET feels like a natural step for me—to exchange ideas, amplify the impact of women in energy, and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive energy future.
