Short Bio:
Linda Malima is a graduate of the University of Malawi (UNIMA), holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (Humanities) program specialized in Philosophy and Psychology. Linda has a three years cumulative working experience. She started her career by working as a part-time volunteer with Chipembere Community Development Organization (CCDO); she also worked as a teacher (class supervisor) in Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) at Lewis Chikhwaza Christian Academy, Kondanani Children’s Village. Before transitioning to CorpsAfrica She worked as a full time Projects Coordinator/ Assistant Programs Manager at CCDO in Youth and Women’s Economic Empowerment Program. Linda collates her diverse experience in advancing the welfare of people in various communities. Whilst serving as local CorpsAfrica Volunteer, she she developed passion in environmental conservation, and she facilitated interventions in climate conservation including tree planting. After serving as local CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Malawi, she went on to serve as an Exchange Voluntereer in Ghana as a way of advancing her professional growth to impact more lives and also promote Pan-Africanism. With this she developed passion in advancing climate change adaptation and environmental conservation through training people in making charcoal briquettes for renewable and clean cooking energy. Currently, she is supporting Buleya Foundation as a Project Manager.
