Short Bio:
Iasmim Carvalho is an attorney who helps clients navigate the evolving and increasingly complex regulatory environment in Brazil.
Focused on the infrastructure and energy sectors, she has assisted the regulatory planning and implementation of Brazil’s first private-sector LNG-to-power project, a groundbreaking regaseification terminal in northern Brazil. Iasmim has also provided assistance on contractual negotiations for the financing and establishment of several Natural Gas Processing Units, Thermoeletric Power Plants and Floating Storage and Regaseification Units.
Through her work on energy generation projects, Iasmim hopes to contribute to the development of a diversified power matrix in Brazil, based on the usage of renewable energy sources to guarantee the security of energy supply with the least impact on the environment.
