Short Bio:
Associate in the Corporate (Energy) team at Foot Anstey LLP, advising clients on the acquisition and sale of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as on associated commercial and regulatory matters across the energy sector. I have experience across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from early-stage development through to operation and maintenance, including M&A and project-related commercial documentation. My work includes drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, development services agreements, data-sharing and collaboration agreements, and advising on a range of regulatory issues, including mandatory notifications under the National Security and Investment Act 2021 and environmental claims in promotional marketing. Prior to joining the firm, I was part of the legal team at GRIDSERVE, a technology-enabled company developing the UK’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure powered by renewable energy. That experience continues to inform my approach, with a strong focus on practicality, commerciality and clear, solutions-oriented advice. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients and colleagues, negotiating complex transactions, and supporting projects that contribute to the clean energy transition.
