Short Bio:
Fungai is a sustainability and impact leader with over a decade of experience spanning clean energy, climate-resilient development and ESG across Africa and globally. At Africa GreenCo, a pioneering power trader and offtaker, she leads Sustainability, Impact & HSES and the company’s carbon market and environmental attributes readiness. In parallel, she builds capacity on renewable energy markets, power trading and ESG for staff and partners. Previously, she held roles with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), GIZ’s Energising Development (EnDev) and Sustainable Textile Programme, Energypedia Consult, and the EU Energy Initiative Partnership Dialogue Facility (EUEI-PDF). She holds a Master’s in International Business from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
