Peggy has 15+ years of experience in planning, financing, supervising and evaluating renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) projects & portfolios. She is a well-travelled, multi-lingual German power & environmental engineer experienced working for and collaborating with a wide range of international finance institutions (IFI), climate funds, EU & bilateral organisations, engineering (consulting) companies, public utilities, philanthropy, think tanks, academia, and tech start-ups.
Her abilities and knowledge build on:
* a strong track record in clean energy infrastructure and climate finance in emerging markets, led and contributed to IFI and climate fund board approvals of about USD 1.5 billion;
* a deep expertise in co-creating, programming and applying technical and financial models for clean energy projects;
* negotiation skills, proven in complex energy project deals involving high-level public and private sector representatives;
* living experience in 4 continents, spanning remote villages in Africa to mega-cities in Asia;
* fluency in 5 EU languages, proven through authorship of investment proposals and peer-reviewed energy research publications as well as government & stakeholder communication;
