Anthonia Ochei is a lawyer specialising in energy, infrastructure, and project finance, with a focus on clean energy and sustainable development across Africa. She advises governments, development finance institutions, and private sector clients on structuring and executing projects that support the energy transition. Her experience includes advising on hydropower development and a USD20 million cross-border financing for distributed solar energy solutions to enhance energy access in underserved communities. She has also supported the structuring of green finance initiatives, including a green bond for water and waste management projects. In the public infrastructure space, she has contributed to the development of a USD200 million PPP-based sustainable water project and supported procurement strategies under the Lagos Water Partnership. She has also been involved in financing negotiations for large-scale, environmentally compliant transport infrastructure. Beyond transactional work, she has facilitated multi-stakeholder engagement on sustainability initiatives and contributed to climate-focused capacity building for African government leaders.
