Short Bio:
Amanda is the Project & Communications Officer at the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), where she leads on the development of knowledge products, stakeholder engagement and communications campaigns on energy nexus topics to shape the international agenda towards the achievement of affordable, secure and clean electricity access for all by 2030. Prior to her versatile role at ARE, Amanda executed research, advocacy and network coordination activities in support of climate change campaigns in the banking as well as the oil & gas sectors.  Amanda has an academic background in business and climate change policy, as well as relevant experience in energy access and sustainable finance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Valencia and a Master’s degree in Climate Change & Environmental Policy from the University of Leeds.
