It is a pleasure to introduce the 32 women who were selected to form the third cohort of the Empowering Central Asian Women in Renewable Energy Mentoring Programme. Organised by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in partnership with GWNET, this programme aims to increase women’s representation at the managerial and decision-making levels; strengthen leadership and soft skills, including self-confidence, strategic communication, and professional visibility; support participants to develop concrete career goals; and encourage networking and peer-to-peer exchange to expand access to opportunities across the sector.
The cohort includes women from all five Central Asian countries and from a range of sectors within the energy transition space. We look forward to supporting them over the next year!
This activity is implemented within the framework of the OSCE project on Promoting Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Energy Sector in Central Asia and follows two successful editions of the mentoring programme. Find out more here.
