Description: GWNET Project Assistant, Eva Hauser, took part in the second session of the South Asian Women in Energy (SAWIE) Mentorship Series on the topic “Navigating through the Corporate Matrix in the Post-Pandemic Era”, led by Dr. Shalini Sarin, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Elektromobilitat and Co-Chairperson, SAWIE.
The participants received valuable advice from the keynote speaker and were able to share their own experiences on how their professional world has changed in a very personal setting.
Dr. Sarin has overcome many obstacles while climbing up her career ladder. She pointed out how important it is for women not to give up and keep on studying, even though it sometimes takes more time and effort, e.g. for mothers because of childcare and maternity leave.
For Dr. Sarin, access to the business world has become more equal in times of the pandemic with the increase of online meetings and events and the growing shift to working from home. She encouraged the participants to take advantage of these opportunities and to support each other.
