Description: Executive Director, Christine Lins, took part in the workshop on Designing Inclusive Energy Futures which was part of the EU-funded Horizon 2020 PROSEU project.
The aim of the workshop was to build a roadmap for 2030: where do we want the future of energy inclusiveness to go and what obstacles need to be overcome to get there? Questions that were discussed included:
- What does a desirable energy future look like for prosumers
- Who will benefit, and who runs the risk to be left behind?
- Which (structural, social, economic, educational, etc.) conditions need to change in order to get there?
- Which role can energy communities, energy agencies, NGOs, local governments or intermediate organisations play?
