Description: GWNET, in cooperation with GIZ, is organised an event to foster gender equality in the energy sector. This event was a side event in the margin of the “International Renewable Energy Conference (IREC)” held in Mexico City from 11-13 September 2017. The IREC is organised by the Government of Mexico and REN21, within the framework of the Strategic Dialogues on the Future of Energy (DEMEX). MEXIREC is a global platform for government ministers, high-level decision makers, experts, specialists and thought leaders, as well as private sector players and civil society, to discuss and exchange their vision, experiences and solutions to accelerate the global scale-up of renewables.
