People-Centered Accelerator Mentoring Programme for Women in Energy Access

The People-Centered Accelerator Mentoring Programme for Women in Energy Access ran from January to September 2020, supporting a cohort of 15 women working in energy access. Organised in partnership with Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), this programme was part of the People-Centered Accelerator initiative. Focused on Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Zambia, the programme targeted women in junior and mid-management roles across various sectors within the energy access value chain, including start-ups and utilities.

The programme aimed to accelerate the professional growth of its participants, equipping them with skills and connections to advance in their careers. Through mentorship and tailored guidance, the programme fostered a network of empowered women poised to make significant contributions in the energy access sector.
