The Partnership on Women’s Entrepreneurship in Renewables (wPOWER) Hub has passed the baton to GWNET to carry on the mission of promoting the central role that women must play in clean energy entrepreneurship; addressing energy poverty and climate change.
wPOWER Hub’s work is founded on four pillars:
- Building evidence to prove that sustainable solutions are attainable if women are involved across the clean energy value chain.
- Sharing best practices for integrating women into the clean cooking, lighting, heating and fuel value chains.
- Advocacy to achieve a more consolidated global voice and platform in support of women’s clean energy entrepreneurship.
- Mentorship to support and enrich the skills of women entrepreneurs.
