Short Bio:
Leidiane Ferronato Mariani has been working for over eighteen years in the fields of sustainability, waste management, biogas, and biomethane. She holds a degree in Environmental Engineering, a specialisation in Renewable Energies, a Master’s in Territorial Management, and a PhD in Energy Systems Planning. She is the Executive Director of Amplum Biogás, a consulting and training company. She also works as a consultant at Instituto 17, a social organisation focused on sustainable development. She is the founder, co-founder, and advisory board member of the Women in Biogas network. In addition, she is an alternate member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Biogas Association. In 2024, she was awarded Best Professional at the Melhores do Biogás Awards, a Brazilian recognition for excellence in the sector, and in 2025 she was recognised by the World Biogas Association at the AD and Biogas Industry Awards 2025 in the Women in Biogas category.
