Description: GWNET President, Irene Giner-Reichl, facilitated a women empowerment session at the World Wind Energy Conference in Rio de Janeiro. The session titled “Women Empowerment – Best Practices for the Sustainable Energy Sector” focused on a sneak preview presentation of the upcoming GWNET study on women empowerment in the sustainable energy sector from a workforce persepctive, put in relief against a Brazilian study on gender equality in the energy sector.
This presentation was followed by a panel discussion on women’s empowerment in the energy sector.
