Description: The National Secretary of Energy, launched the Nexo Women and Energy Roadmap of Panama, with a view to ensuring the implementation of the energy transition in Panama includes gender equality.
As part of this event, GWNET Senior Advisor, Irene Giner-Reichl, provided welcoming remarks, emphasizing the urgency of the energy transition, the social transformation that will be witnessed, and the need to mobilise all available talent.
Irene shared that “we believe that energy transitions must be inclusive and that great care must be taken that no group in society, and indeed no individual, is left behind.” She also commended the Panamian authorities for designing the energy transition process with a view to guaranteeing inclusion and diversity.
