Description: The IFC’s Women in Renewable Energy in Africa Network (W-REA), in collaboration with Energy2Equal and the GWNET, launched a mentoring program for women professionals working in renewable energy in Sub-Saharan Africa to advance their role as change agents in the energy transition.

During the launch event, GWNET Executive Director, Christine Lins, presented tactics for attracting, retaining, and promoting female talent in renewable energy. Christine also elaborated on the findings from our study on “Strategies to Foster Women’s Talent for Transformational Change” and presented the framework for the mentorship.
