Description: The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) in cooperation with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), the Austrian Energy Agency and Raffeiner Reputation hosted “Mit voller Energie hinauf! Gemeinsam die gläserne Decke durchbrechen.”
The interactive event aimed to support women’s career opportunities in the energy and innovation industry. In the first panel discussion, industry representatives with leadership and management capabilities provided tips on career development in the energy industry and manoeuvers needed to break through the female “glass ceiling.” In a further panel, women experts had the opportunity to interact and network while sharing their journeys in the energy domain.
GWNET Executive Director, Christine Lins, took part in the panel “Empowering women – women’s networks from the energy and technology sector”, where she presented some of GWNET’s numerous endeavours regarding the promotion of gender-sensitive action in ensuring a comprehensive and speedy energy transition.
With this event, GWNET continues its rigorous efforts in advocating for a just energy transition that is beneficial on a global scale.
