Description: GWNET Executive Director, Christine Lins, gave a keynote speech at the webinar Empowering Women of ASEAN as the Key Player of Just Energy Transition, as part of the celebration for International Women’s Day.
The webinar aimed to highlight the importance of gender equality and equity in the energy transition in the region. The webinar also aimed to break the silo of gender by empowering the women of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to not just take part but take the lead in the energy transition.
This webinar also facilitated the discussion between women leaders in government, private companies, and academicians that work in the energy sector.
